Description
When a job is too big for a belt knife and too fiddly for a hatchet, the Ontario RAT-7 fills the gap. Its 7″ drop point blade is cut from 5 mm thick 1095 carbon steel and flat ground, so it will baton through firewood and chop limbs yet still take a fine enough edge for carving and food prep. A black powder coat protects the steel from rust.
The tang runs the full length of the handle and extends past the scales to form a lanyard hole. Textured canvas Micarta gives a secure hold with wet or cold hands. Designed by Jeff Randall and made in the USA, the RAT-7 comes with a black nylon belt sheath that is MOLLE compatible.
