Description
Light, slim and quick to open, the 840 Sprint Select suits anyone who wants one knife for everyday cutting. Ball bearings in the pivot take the drag out of opening: a push on the flipper tab sends the blade out in one smooth movement, and the liner lock snaps in behind it.
The drop point blade is cut from 420HC stainless steel and heat treated by Buck to 58-60 HRC. It holds an edge through regular use, stands up to corrosion and is easy to resharpen at home. Contoured black glass filled nylon scales with a red backspacer keep the weight to 3.2 oz, and at 4 3/8″ closed the knife tucks out of sight on its deep carry clip.
