I purchased the Beaver Craft SK4S Open Curve Spoon Knife as an addition to the Beaver Craft S17 Whittle Knife and Extended Spoon Set. It’s a fantastic all round well made tool. It has fast become my go to for curving, rounding and gouging of soft wood.
I’m still at beginner level but am absolutely hooked. Beaver Craft have made excellent entry level sturdy tools.
Couldn’t be happier with the look and feel, my 13 year old is loving the satisfaction of carving with these tools too.
I’ll look at a the Beaver Craft K6L/15 Compact Short Bent Gouge as my next addition.
