Heading out for more than a day? The Morakniv Survival Kit puts fire and a sharp edge on your belt. It is a sleeve that pushes onto the polymer sheath of a Kansbol or Garberg and clicks home, so the two tools you are most likely to need travel with the knife itself.
Scrape the spine of your blade down the built-in ferro rod and it showers sparks in wet or dry conditions. When the edge dulls after hard use, a few passes on the diamond sharpener get it cutting again. The fire starter hangs on a reflective cord that shows up in torchlight, which helps when you put it down after dark.
