The skeletonised and nested liner offers a balance of strength and weight, and the dedicated contrasting brass backspacer is aesthetically pleasing, while adding extra structural stability, and a spot to attach a lanyard. Purposefully placed jimping provides confident and secure control in adverse weather conditions or work environments, and the well-tuned deep-carry clip can be positioned for left or right-sided carry.

The M390 blade steel ensures an excellent balance of performance, toughness, and edge retention, and the shallow compound hollow grind ensures slicing performance and edge stability. The traditional Tantō has superior piercing performance, the tip is further reinforced by a harpoon structure, and the straight fuller offers a sleek, yet sophisticated appearance.
