Needed a small Folding Blade pocket knife to add to a First Aid Kit, for clothing removal, cutting Bandages,
making temporary splints etc. Have used “Gerber” products before in Knives and “Multi Tools”.
The ” Gerber Zilch” in black, seemed to fill the bill, good size, good price as it will stay in the “Kit” with little use,
easy single hand design that anyone can easily use,( also has a “nail groove “either side of the Blade for inexperienced users) approx. total 105mm length closed, 75mm Blade length with a “stone wash finish”.
When opened the blade locked securely.
Good handle material for grip, has a hole for attaching a lanyard or similar to clothing or equipment plus the usual clip for pocket carry. Out of the Box was very sharp and usable, won’t frighten small hands. For me a good purchase.
