Really great set of knives that give you the freedom to have a crack at pretty much any whittling project you could imagine. Great quality and only required a quick strop out of the box before using. Everything being tucked up into the canvas roll is super handy for storage too

For an entry level set, the Beaver Craft S17 Whittle Knife and Extended Spoon set is excellent value for money . I wasn’t sure if the product would do the job, but I’m hooked. I used Macrocarpa pine for my first attempt at spoon making and the tools have been flawless.
Beaver Craft tools look great and feel nice in the hand, making cutting through soft wood satisfying.
I also purchased the Beaver Craft SK4S Open curve spoon knife as an addition to the set.
I have not regretted the additional purchase as it has expanded what I can achieve.
The tool roll makes pack up and storage very convenient.

Love this set! Everything the part-time whittler needs. I have recently decided that I wanted to learn carving and some reading led me to this set. It comes with a handy roll up storage pouch, and has a leather strop with compound included. I only managed to cut myself twice…now I need the safety gloves.
