Description
This compact Sloyd Knife is a great wood carving tool. It is used ideally for chip carving and detail wood work, but also commonly used for general woodworking and also handicrafts.
The knife’s blade is hand-made from high carbon steel which is hardened and then razor sharpened. With a sharpened blade, this Sloyd knife is able to cut very well into hollow areas while also having the ability to cut both soft and hard wood.
The handle of the knife is made from Ashwood which is then covered with natural linseed oil to create a clean well-polished style. This knife is also ambidextrous and fits for both right-and left handed people.

Very nicely made and balanced knife . Certainly not a fine edge out of the box , infact dull in my experience . Not too difficult to stone a good edge , however , doesnt hold for long. I dont subscribe to knives being rated as beginner to advanced etc as I believe a sharp blade is a safe blade , for too many reasons to list here . Represents average value for money .
