Description
Blade: A classic straight edge profile is present, with a fully flat ground and satin finished VG10 stainless steel blade. This enhances the slicing performance with the clean plain edge. There is jimping on the thumb ramp which only enhances traction and control. The ambidextrous RoundHole makes for easy one hand operation. The small size of the blade with the acute point is a perfect choice for fine work or restricted environments.
Handle: Ergonomic in the design, the handle offers a solid three finger grip alongside a lanyard hole for attachment if added grip is necessary for those with bigger hands. The Liner-less handles are durable, lightweight, comfortable and contain Bi-Directional texturing for secure grip. There is a sturdy mid-back design which performs rock solid lock up and reliable security. If heavy pressure is applied the Boye Dent prevents from accidental disengagement of the lock.
Japanese VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC. VG10 is a popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance.
