The knife has a double-edged stainless steel blade for both pull and push carving. The blade has a more open curve and is perfect for making a clean cut surface or bowls with large radius.

The blade has been optimised to make it run smooth over the inside of the spoon or bowl. Improved edge bevels complete the blade and give it the optimum carving experience.

If you want to carve your own spoon, dish or cup, a spoon knife is the best option as its U-shape makes it optimal for hollowing out rounded and concave shapes.

This hook knife has a double-edged blade. This knife has a somewhat wider radius of 25 mm – perfect for the initial coarser hollowing. The spindle shaped handle is made of oiled birch wood, which gives it a natural feeling and also gives you the possibility to form the handle yourself for optimal shape.

The spoon carving knives come sharp and ready to go, I was a bit disappointed that the collars had surface rust on them however I was pleased with a swift resolution to my email. Will buy again as the customer service is excellent.
